Is the Samsung Galaxy A12 the King of Midrange Smartphone for 2021? Leave a comment

Hey guys, my name is Jairus and I am one of the resident Fone Geeks here at Fone Haus and I will be reviewing the latest mid-range smartphone that was just released in the market, The Galaxy A12

Samsung has done it again with the release of a mid-range smartphone packed with almost all the main features of a high-end smartphone at a more affordable price. Similar to the Samsung Galaxy A71, the Galaxy A12 has almost every feature of a high-end smartphone but priced a lot cheaper than you would have paid 12 months ago

The Galaxy A12 is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy A11 that was launched in 2020. The Galaxy A12 has an awesome immersive 6.5” Infinity- V display. An awesome quad-camera setup at the back, with a 48MP main lens, up to 4GB RAM with a 128GB Storage and up to 1TB to add even more space, a hefty 5000mAh battery, and not to mention an Octa-core processor. One upgrade with the Galaxy A12 is the new Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, an upgrade from Bluetooth 4.2 on the Galaxy A11 to improve the wireless experience if you are using Samsung Galaxy Buds. All of these upgrades in an awesome new design.

The Galaxy A12 has the best camera and battery life features that Samsung has become well known for. The phone has an excellent unlocking fingerprint sensor inbuilt with the power button on the right side of the metal frame.

Performance

The Galaxy A12 runs on an Android 10 and Samsung’s One UI 2.5 version. Packed with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, all your files can be stored on your device but if you have larger files, the Galaxy A12 is expandable to 512GB or 1TB with a memory card.

The Galaxy A12 has awesome Knox security. Setting up a fingerprint is quick, consistent and reliable!

The Galaxy A21s comes with a physical fingerprint sensor on the power button, with just a touch that enables you to unlock your phone. Just like unlocking almost every smartphone, you would need to press the power button and then enter your passcode. With just one touch, effortlessly you will be granted access.

Each new version of Android that you download onto your device will look and feel slightly different! One of the changes with the ONE UI 2 version smartphones is the added “Camera Mode” option that is installed in the Galaxy A12. Apart from the regular camera options, there is a “MORE” option to give you more different modes to take.

Apart from the camera options, there is a “Deco Pic” click-on that has a variety of AR Emojis, and more filters to have fun! Some of our teamhad a bit of fun with the new AR Emojis and filters.
